June 2018 PCC Metals Group Price Increase

Effective for all orders placed on or after June 4, 2018, the Special Metals business unit of the PCC Metals Group will raise base prices by 3-5%. The increase will apply to all product forms and includes, but is not limited to, the following alloys: INCONEL alloy 600, INCONEL alloy 601, INCONEL alloy 22, INCONEL alloy 622, INCONEL alloy C-276, INCONEL alloy HX, INCONEL alloy 625, INCONEL alloy G-3, INCOLOY alloy 020, INCOLOY alloy 028, INCOLOY alloy 800, INCOLOY alloy 803, INCOLOY alloy 825, INCOLOY alloy 25-6HN, INCOLOY alloy 27-7MO, NILO alloy 36.

The base price increase is necessary to support continued investment and growth in our business. The price increase affects all shipments globally from PCC Metals Group’s manufacturing and service center network.

In addition, the TIMET business unit of the PCC Metals Group is reviewing possible pricing actions due to increasing costs of critical titanium raw material inputs. Recent, rapid increases in the costs of the feedstocks required to produce titanium sponge, the value of titanium scrap, and the cost of vanadium and molybdenum oxides utilized to produce alloy additions (required primarily in aerospace applications) are driving the review. An announcement regarding titanium ingot and mill product pricing is expected in the near future.
