In 1998, Special Metals Corporation formed a joint venture marketing and sales organization with Daido Steel Co., Ltd., a world leader in specialty steel manufacture. This organization, in cooperation with Special Metals Pacific Pte. Ltd., markets an extensive range of superalloys and high-performance alloys produced by Special Metals and Daido Steel Co., Ltd. in Japan . Marketing efforts of the joint venture are conducted through sales offices in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka and a service/distribution center and sales office in Nagoya.
